Paris glitters

This year I've learnt that sometimes life is not an easy road. That even though you work hard to make it easier, you always find landslides, rain, winds that damaged it. So everything does not depend on ourselves. Even though, there are other circunstances that can change your course, which you've always believed you were bound to go.
This year I've noticed that the main point is to love yourself and then others will love you. I learnt that there is only one life and you do not know how long it will last. We should look forward, but without missing the present. The rules are fine, but not the only thing you have to follow. And sometimes there is no explanation for everything, and it is not so bad to go with the flow.
This year I lost and found myself, I fell down and got right back up stronger. Now I will enjoy and live. I will feel with no reason, without logical explanation and I do not care if it will end up because there is no end to anything, just the beginning of something new.

Live and let live. Enjoy, smile and share. Love and let yourself be loved.

Christmas Markets in Cologne

Christmas markets in Cologne
One of the best things I like about north Europe are the Christmas Markets. I liked the atmosphere, the food and the mulled wine which I hadn't tasted before. Even I like the cold weather and the snow while Christmas songs are listened.
The city of Cologne offers seven Christmas markets in total, which have almost four million visitors each year.

The market at the Cologne Cathedral is the most impressive one of Cologne's Christmas markets due to the backdrop of the imposing Cathedral. However I liked a lot the "Cologne Old Town" market, also known as the "Home of the gnomes". It is a rustic Christmas market inspired by the famous Cologne legend which says that gnomes who live there were good craftspeople.

I have just arrived to Spain for spending Christmas at home. I am happy to see again my family and friends. For sleeping in my fabulous bed and eating the delicious food of my mum. This Christmas will be one of the most magical Christmas I ever spent. I wish you all have magical time too and thank you so much for all your support and comments. I know I am more focused in my Erasmus experience than doing feedback and attending the blog as it deserves. But I always feel so grateful to realize that you are still there.

Thank you so much!
Merry Christmas! :)

White Snow

snowed Gent
Winter arrived to Ghent covering this magical place with beautiful white snow. It was amazing how beautiful the ancient buildings were covered by snow and the sun shining through them.

For winter days, there is nothing better that a good fur jacket, a wooden hat and gloves to warm your ears and hands. I bought these open fingered gloves at Urban Outfitters in Antwerp. They are very useful because you can use your fingers and very warm though. I like the winter print which reminds me to D&G collection.
