Brussels Rock's

Brussels is the capital of Belgium and the administrative centre of the European Union. The metropolitan area has a population of over 1.8 million, making it the largest in Belgium. Today most of inhabitants are native French-speakers, but both Dutch and French have official status.

This was the second time I went to Brussels, I really like the vibrant atmosphere of Brussels as well as its picturesque medieval streets, beautiful boulevards and impressive monuments. The main square (Grand Place or Grote Mark) is probably one of the most beautiful and amazing town squares in Europe. I admired it the first time that I went there, and so did I this time. I really like Gothic architecture so this square is really one of my favourites.

To walk around Brussels I wanted to mix this lace little white dress which has a romantic feeling, with rocker complements as the leather jacket and the motorbike boots.
I had been looking for this kind of dress during long time but I found the perfect lace dress in 'Las Dalias' hippy market of Ibiza. The dress is totally hand-made and I really like the soft fabric and the lace work on it.

Belgium is very famous because of its beers and also its chocolates. Waffles are also very popular in Belgium, but the ones I have seen in Brussels are probably the best ones. They are made with strawberries, cream and Belgium chocolate and you can see them everywhere in the city.
Other typical Belgian sweets are the cuberdons (or neuekers). They are cone-shaped and have a small, sweet and sugared edge with a tender inside. The key ingredients are raspberry syrup, sugar and gum arabic which makes them expensive because this vegetable gum is rather rare. As they do not keep well, cuberdons are not exported so they can be just bought in Belgium.
